Thanks everyone. Looking for faster ratio and better road feel; however, I'll start by checking/changing the rag joint while I accumulate the parts for a complete change-out.

Chuck at www.powersteering.com can restore and update your original box to a fast ratio version. This will fix both your slop and ratio at the same time.
