imho, your 389 build is quite the value adder for any factory built '64-66 389 4bbl car.

I feel exactly the same. Excellent numbers for a good ol' 389. Helped a friend put together a '65 389 with those same pistons and heads but the heads were not worked and the cam was a Comp 268. 4 speed '65 with a 3.36 gear and the car really scoots......most don't believe it's 'only' a 389! I'm running a warmed over 389 in my own '65, and it runs way stronger than the 428 it replaced over 30 years ago!
