I wanted to seal up my valley area for oil control on my 540 build. My engine builder said there is 0 hp there. He built all of Kenny Koretsky's pro stock engines. One time he was working with Frank Iaconio and they went as far as encasing the cam in a tube with a drain at both ends. Nothing noticable. Maybe someone else has different info.
