Here's a picture of a '70 Formula 400 with AC (no gauges) with the bird in the dash over the fan control switch (proper location). I wonder if the dash panels were pre-punched for the emblem, but if gauges were ordered, that area was punched for the gauge instead.

Interesting that the '70 Firebird brochure shows the Firebird emblem in 3 different areas and not where the actual production location ended up being (above the fan switch).

Did '70 TA's (and later years) have the dash emblem too as shown in the brochure?
