Neat.

I was wondering why no one was going down this path given all the issues with retrofit roller lifters these days!

Default Lifters

I got my ls7 lifters today and they will not work. The oil hole is to high and comes out the top of the bore with a mild lift cam. Going to talk to comp and see if they can grind the pontiac cam on a smaller base circle to allow use of these lifters. Realize this could be an option if your ordering a custom grind cam anyway. Still looking at other possible cost effective lifters to evaluate. The ls7 oil band location is ok they have moved the oil hole up and put a notch out of the oil band to get oil to the hole. Hope this info helps I will keep updating as I research and test more.
