I'm trying George, but it's not cost effective to reinvent the wheel. We will all go faster if we learn from one and other.

If the wheel wasn’t reinvented at least thousand times it would still be stone and it would have an e headed engine

I don't think the concept of the wheel has actually changed much over time.

We were keeping the rpm under 8000 with the 4.5 stroke. Did the Grocery Getter weigh over 4000lbs?

No, it was just a tick over 3000#. I guess I have no idea what your cars weighs. Sorry for that confusion.

Wow! I had no idea it was that heavy. I know it has a tremendous chassis structure, but I never would have guessed that race weight. You are making allot of torque and HP to move that beast! Think about this: Your car may close to double the weight of the Kauffman dragster.

I like looking at things from different angles like that. The Raven can probably make close to three times the power also. I often show a novice the 1/8 mile MPH and compare it to current 0-60 times of performance cars today. It helps folks relate to how fast our cars are.

Lol my father in-law didn't understand things until i put thing in terms of 0-125mph in 5sec. Then he seemed to sort of understand is Mercedes wasn't that impressive to me.
