I'll be changing all of that tomorrow or Saturday...

It currently has the twin Flexalite kit on it, and in my opinion, they do not draw enough air, and they create a restriction when on the highway.

Which kit is that, the truck one, like the 298?

Only Flex-a-Lite fans that I've seen work are the Black Magic ones and the full size truck ones.


You basically need about more than 3500 cfm+ , but the ratings are not standardized, so at times you just have to try or see it in action.

At 3500 rpm I would think it would run hot on a long distance.
Can you try a taller tire to help gear ratio maybe. or a different gear?
