I think, at this point, I will just back door the calculation on the driven gear. I know I have to go with a larger gear as I need to slow the speedo down. I know that at approx. 70 mph my speedo reads 100mph so I need a driven gear that is approximately 30% more teeth, so I think I will go with the 45 tooth gear and try that.
