I called and explained and they emailed me a prepaid shipping label. Boxed it up and its already on its way back. They had one left with like 34 on order. She said if the next one is the same way one of the next 34 will be fresh when they come in.. Also had to send back one of the 15x7 ralley wheel that came yesterday,,,,edge of the rim was bent and scratched pretty good,,,,box was a little damaged so probably shipping.. Good thing Im not in a hurry.

It would be nice to know who the vendor was. Obviously they are concerned about customer satisfaction and doing the right thing. |

Jegs. Theyve been good to me. This all started when I ordered 4 of the firestone wide oval radials. Expensive(almost 1200.00) but thought i would be getting what was advertised as the dimensions. They say 27" tall but were 26.5". Ok ,, not happy but I can deal with that. It was the 6" actual tread width(thats being kind)with a claimed 6.9" width that bugged me the most. Installed one on my 14x7 ralley and it looked funky. Even the guy who mounted the tire on the rim said that. 3 months later I called Jegs and they took them back and paid for shipping. Thats how to treat a customer. So now I bought 4 new rims (15") and tires from them for about 1450.00.

That was impressive customer service.
Fwiw..I was mistaken, running at the strip and for road courses with the 15” rims we ran McLeary tires not Hoosiers. They have a great selection of 15” tires to choose from in different treads, compounds and even dot tires for our muscle cars. https://americanraceronline.com/wp-c...atalog-PDF.pdf Last edited by Jay S; 08-27-2020 at 09:40 PM. Prior to American Racer they were Race Tires America, Inc. (McCreary).
I still have their catalog from 1998. Not for their dirt tires but for the D.O.T. Street Tires, Jay is correct a good selection of 15-inch. Later they were involved in a court battle with Hoosier Racing Tires. .
