That appears to be the same position I settled on. I had jumped in on a thread last november when installing mine & there were a lot of original pics showing the variations of how there were applied. I had picked up some NOS decals & was worried they would be garbage because they were so old the glue sealing the paper sleeves dried up. But they turned out to be just fine. I little reside I had to remove after from the transfer paper but that was it.

I wonder if there is something that is a universal white that all of us have were I could photograph next to mine to see how off white or ivory they really are? To be honest, they look a lot more towards white than cameo ivory. Sheet of std printer paper?

I can send you the spare decal so you can compare to your NOS for color. The set I bought came with three decals.....I guess just in case I messed up one set? PM me your address and I will drop it in the mail. Would love to see the color differences.
