Awesome! Thanks for sharing. We could use more road racing exploits on the board.

You and me both.
I think I'm about the only one that's open about my engine size. Still, most are surprised to see a Pontiac Engine under the hood, get a lot of questions.

All the Mustangs, had 4 there, had 289 fender badges and no way in hell would they tell you what's really inside that SBF.
Could be a 347 or 427. All turn over 7200 and weigh several hundred pounds less so it sorta equals out.
I top out at 6500 but will push it to 6700 when needed. Tq off the corners is where I gain the most but give it back at the top end.
The Porches were a couple 911's and a 914-6 but one was a 911 RSR Turbo wide body car, he and I had a great race. We all ran in Gr-6.

The rest of our run group were Gr 8 which are smaller bore lighter weight cars. 240Z's, Opel's, BMW 2002's. Fast overall but no grunt.
Vintage is multi class racing so you'll be surprised at what keeps up or catches you in the corners.

Very nice. Sounds great. You said they catch you up top. What's the MPH on those straights ?
Again, very nice job.
