For me about 140 at 6500 on the longer back straight, the shorter front is probably only about 120 or so, but given my tq induced lead pulling off a slow corner the bigger issue is braking at the next one. My car is heavy on the front with that engine versus a SBF so I have to get off the gas and on the brake a tad sooner so that's when I usually get caught, but sometimes I can alter a corner entry point to take away their passing line. Makes us both slow off the corner but since I have the Tq advantage I'll play it.
It's a bit of a cat and mouse game and sometimes using traffic as a pick.

Later in a run, especially the hr long endurance race when your tires start going away, you have to adopt a different strategy of rolling out of the throttle earlier and letting the car track out, and short shifting to keep from spinning the tires, etc... it becomes more of you against the track than the other cars.

It is a lot of fun though, average about 3 hours of track time per race weekend.
