They have a clutch, just not a clutch pedal.

The clutch is operated automatically when the driver changes gear via the paddles on the steering wheel.

The driver does control it manually to get the car rolling at the start, pit stops, etc., but it's controlled by a hand lever.

I did not phrase my question very well, your answer does highlight my point. The clutch is operated automatically when driving at speed.
