I personally know of SEVERAL harmonic balancers that failed and took out the Hood, fender, radiator or all 3. They were Traditional Pontiac parts, not the LS parts you posted about. Bill Klausing, again a die hard Pontiac Guy, who is about 6'11" tall would not be happy if you implied he was lying, Paul.
His balancer was one of the failures.
