Here are a few pics from a project that I started back in 2011, 68 LeMans. Had the Evaporator flushed, acid washed, leak checked, Compressor rebuilt and installed new a Hearer Core and that's as far as it progressed.
it appears that the red circled holes in your pic are for larger sheet metal screws. Let me know it you need any other details. Dave
