Car shows, or Cruise ins, Englewood, FL
Looking for car shows in that area. I heard there is one on Dearborn st. the 1st Sat of the month. Looking for other ones.

Culvers Restaurant Car Show - 2nd Monday of month – 1140 El Jobean Rd. (front of Port Charlotte Mall) 3pm – 6pm, menu discount, trophies, 50/50, music by Tom’s Traveling Tunes, $5 donation (January 10th) Perkins Restaurant Car Show – 2nd Wednesday of month – 6001 S. Salford Blvd., North Port (Rt. 41 southbound across street from Kirklands) 3-6pm, menu discount, trophies, door prizes, 50/50. $5 donation. Music by Tom’s Traveling Tunes. (January 12th) Five Guys Car Show – 3rd Saturday of month – 1900 Tamiami Trl. Pt. Charlotte (next to Chick-fil-A) 3-6pm, trophies, 50/50, music by Tom’s Traveling Tunes, free drinks with meal purchase for car show participants, $5 donation. (January 15th) AMVETS Post 312 Car Show – 3rd Wednesday of month – 7050 Chancellor Blvd., North Port, 3-6pm. Music by Tom’s Traveling Tunes, trophies, raffle, 50/50, $5 donation. Full bar and menu. (January 19th) Moe’s Southwest Grill/Culvers Car Show – 4th Saturday of month – Rt. 41 and Tuscola Blvd. (beside Lowes) North Port, 3pm –6pm, Trophies, 50/50, music by Tom’s Traveling Tunes, $5 donation. (January 22nd). SPECIAL EVENTS January 8th - BOWLAND PORT CHARLOTTE CAR SHOW. 3192 Harbor Blvd. 10am – 2pm. $10 donation. Trophies, food for purchase. 50/50, music by Tom’s Traveling Tunes. My friend lives in that area. Always talking about Dearborn St. Says there's plenty of car activities in the area. Recently he joined a local chapter of the GTOAA.

Thanks a lot HALFWAY. I’m going to be here until mid April, so I’ll be taking in a bunch of those shows.

Went to the Five Guys show on the 15th, maybe 30 or so vehicles, NO Pontiacs. But it was nice to get out of Northeast weather for a few days!

...............the 16th, not so much. Woke up to cell phone weather warnings @ 7AM, couple tornadoes south of us. Interesting day to say the least

That Tornado touched down 5 miles from my house. I heard 38 mobile homes were hit. Fortunately there where no fatalities from what I hear.

Yup, that was an interesting day. I lost several fence panels, but that was all.

I'm in Port Charlotte too. No damage but sure put some excitement into our Sunday morning.
