Well, when I started this thread I really had not made up my mind on what I was going to do and had no idea what may happen. But now the question has been answered. I found the owner of the car right here. We've made a deal and once I get the motor out of my car it will go back to where it belongs. Pretty cool.

Ok so if I has correct motor but not number matching in my car put some hot rod motor in and then something when bad and didn't have that engine no more I'd be upset. Another thing is that it's your engine. With out original engine car value cut big time or had a service replacement so if he isn't paying good money for it I'm keeping it. 3 rd is proving its yours how did it even get out of car in first place. These days these cars so rare and the greed sickens me us the lies people say. I just don't trust anyone. Keep the engine ad back up period. I've had my car for most of my life mine since 8 years old and someone always takes something even back then. Even if it's not the correct Vin it's correct motor and its yours. I lost some trust in some members , not says you. Keep your engine man.
