I have one of those on my turbo setup IA2. The ring will cut its own groove to the head. Thats how it seals the bore. So when you remove the heads, u need to get it milled .005 to make it flat again.

So yours is dry decked too? How much boost have you made?

Really? Wouldn't there be a number of combustion chamber shapes in which that could not work? In my ignorance, I assumed that a matching groove was cut in the head.
