Who did you buy the rings from, opeliac, Marty years ago or Bob and Frank?
If you have directions, from Marty or Bob and Frank, you are good to go, otherwise I can ask Marty to send me the Machining Instructions and will post them here for you. Tom V.

I bought them from Bob and Frank...I had planned on having Butler do the machine work, but when I called today, the guy on the phone said they've never done any...So, I called Tony earlier, and I think i'm gonna run it up to BES next week...

Since you've ran them, what is your opinion? What engine are they on?

I haven't run them yet. Motor is being put together to run this year. Bill is assembling motor and doing machine work to it. The engine is an IA-II alum block that was made into a 4 cyl. with billet crank, billet Ram Air 5 Wilcox head and billet blower manifold. One of a kind

I got a billet timing cover that I bought from a PY member and used a SBC nascar water pump and reverse cooled it. Not sure if it was actually better but I did it anyways.

I am also wondering why they dont put any sort of receiver groove in the head...Tom V explained the basics of the rings, and how they work, but it just seems like they'd be even better with a few thou receiver groove. |

Dry deck and reverse cool. I only had it to 15 psi on the dyno.
