Did that little head-mounted hose brace supersede the inner fender strap?

I intend to install that strap. I looked all over for it but I'm not sure if I just can't find it or whether I didn't get one with the car when I bought it. I guess I'll order a repro from Ames. I have a list going of other small parts I need too.

I think the non A/C cars got the one mounted on the head and the A/C cars got the one on the inner fender.
