70 Lemans Station wagon at $30K BIN with a 4 speed. Could you order a station wagon with a 4-speed in 1970?

Good question. Know you could get a 3 speed behind a 350 2bbl in a '70 LeMans wagon, as years ago I parted on one. In a "regular" 70 Tempest or LeMans, occasionally a 4 speed was ordered behind a 350 2bbl. Do know the one thing you couldn't get in a LeMans wagon was factory dual exhaust. Last, the round shifter handle in the above wagon is incorrect, the curve towards the front of the bench was no more after 1969.

Disagree (respectively) on both counts. The color is something someone wouldn't probably choose unless it came in that color, so you don't see them. How many red cars are you gonna see vs. something like this? This car is stunning as is IMO. The poverty caps make the car so much more Pontiac IMO than the 17" Rally II's. It's probably not even noticeable to the casual observer, but I love me some real Pontiac parts.

It looks like it was a 3-on-the-tree 250 six banger with posi and AM/FM radio...weird options, but that's what makes these old Pontiacs so cool! Dennis |
