Thank you all. I understand the different enviro impacts for evaporation and combustion.

The combustion impact is probably not much different if I burn it in a vehicle or on a brush pile, although there's no catalytic converter on my brush pile!

Others have pointed out evap is illegal and burning in a vehicle is not. This is a good point, regardless of which impact is "worse".

I didn't want to start a battle on the politics nor the science of global warming impact. I just wanted to know if the lack of a hazardous waste disposal process for gasoline was unique to my county. Seems not.
