Interesting discussion. I'm always looking for 5-10 HP in our street cars but I've never went after it through the alternator. Always figured there wasn't much there.

I have played with fans however.

A set up using electric fans only for cooling. I've seen it stated by some who track tested with the fans on and with them off, results were no measurable difference in ET & MPH.
