Mines still on the pallet too. Never did anything but plumb the line and plug it in . That was 2012 still there doing fine. It Is far quieter then my bolted down compressor at my hangar. If I wanted it quieter I’d probably use some 2 inch foam board and make a box around it with air holes but it doesn’t bother me.

Mine is still on the pallet, also. Seems to work out good 20 years later
