Well, sealing the Alabama garage is hopeless ( our 1920 PA 3-car garage was well sealed ).
The AL land has sheep, hens, bees, barn, so the sheep poop has attracted rats, mice.

No roaches !! plenty of geckos, chameleons, and a garage frog.

If I were to pull the fenders to work the Lower cowl-side sealing (screen or metal to close it) I’d consider the “ $300 “ wrapping as a repaint to make it worthwhile. That would motivate.

Sounds like the perfect environment for a Jack Russell or Rat Terrier....or a cat if you like them.

We won’t do cats feral or tame. Rat Terrior or any ratter dog but not a chihuahua (spell check turned on and really annoys me)

We did see a black snake slithering along the upper garage wall a couple weeks ago. And the loft had evidence of mouse and rat visits, and snake visit. Not much but enough for me to spray pest foamed and tape over to seal that loft today, for Clean storage again.

We have moth balls, and poison pellets, but no dryer sheets. Just set up the rat bucket trap again. We’ll see.
