Anything mechanical can have issues.
Yes, they catch on fire. Have seen quite a few posts of race cars & parts catching fire over the years and burning down a garage. Maybe time to take race cars off the road. Safety Hazard. Again lots of opinions, minimal experience. I can change my mind any time I want on whether to post based on any new info. Believe there are only a few like Bart or Stuart that can make rules. So the government has issues with parts (recent helo crash) (B2 grounding) etc. Poor choice of words, Grandam, do not think any manufacturer would have an "Option" related to creating a fire on a vehicle.
