It is about 1/6" too long so no matter which end you started laying down first, you would have excess at the other causing alignment issues of the openings or cutouts. The only way to make it fit would be to remove a small vertical section. After over an hour of attempting to get it on right, I balled it up and threw it away totally frustrated. Also had no instructions with it so that was no help.

We decided to test fit one of the inserts on an original dash carrier. The finished product was quite satisfactory. This is not the easiest process; it does require some time and quite a bit of patience to get a nice final product. We completely understand the frustration these can sometimes cause. Please note that any imperfections seen are due to the original installed underneath. See the final product below:
