We decided to test fit one of the inserts on an original dash carrier. The finished product was quite satisfactory. This is not the easiest process; it does require some time and quite a bit of patience to get a nice final product. We completely understand the frustration these can sometimes cause. Please note that any imperfections seen are due to the original installed underneath. See the final product below:
