If you ordered the fans from Cold Case get rid of the shroud. I read on a few threads their design doesn’t allow for enough air flow. Had the same problem on my stock 70 GTO. Went back to a factory fan with the cold case radiator and it works great.

The radand fans are GPG34ASK, it seems to climb to 220 degrees at cruise, 40-50 mph, the engine has maybe 50 miles on it. Perhaps it's running too lean at cruise? The outside temp was 80 degs
