9.0:1 and cammed huh. Not just carb problem, moreso a compression and cam problem.
For 9.0:1 and cammed 455+060, 4 of my rebuilt Q-JETs all stumbled. Whereas the 1050 Holley (with 98 or 104 Jets? Forget) could muster smooth and strong response. Probably Compensated by dumping fuel. I worked hard to get 9.0:1 to play like a high compr engine in the 1/4 mile, but doesn't mean i understood how. So the fella had a working carb that also could dump fuel, whereas the other carb didn't.
