In fact my dad’s two best friends became die hard mopar guys because of this car. One owned memory motors which was well known for high powered mopars , many 426 hemi drag cars owned after. They used to say that at 60 mph you’d step on it and it woukd burn the tires for as long as you held your foot in it. They were used mainly in Daytona 500 roundy round racing. So they had to sell so many to be legal. . But they were factory race cars. .
