Hood Tach was supposedly a dealer only option in 72. Not available from the factory so it wouldn't be on the PHS.
PO may have ordered the clock and hood tach from the dealer.

TheBoss might chime in on the car , but he rarely posts here anymore.
In-Dash Tach & Gauges were standard equipment with WW5 option. And numerous other things have been altered on this car that I didn't go into. The dash picture didn't show if it had gauges or not I'm not sure how complete or incomplete the car was when Boss sold it. I don't think the current seller is the same guy he sold it to. Off the wall factoids : I did a breakdown once and you could actually order all the WW5 options separately and come out about $10 or $15 cheaper than ordering WW5 . We have one car in our list from another PY member that the original owner actually did that. The Invoice was jam packed. Even had Cruise and AC etc ... Lloyd's former 72 HO , the original owner ordered all the WW5 options separately Except Tach & Gauges , and installed a Hood Tach. |
