I've seen those. Do you believe there is any significant difference in handling between the 75 and 70 series tires?

I honestly don't know. This car only had 75 series tires on it since I have owned it. The P235/75/15 tires it used to have on the rear were very tight to the wheel well lip. Only 1/2" clearance. Not sure 70's would have fit with these 8-lug wheels.

Without any doubt, the biggest single thing I have done to my car for handling improvement was adding a 1" rear sway bar. It completely changed the cornering ability of the car. There is a stupid roundabout right near my house. Without the bar, 25 MPH, plowing away, squealing tires. With the bar, 35 MPH, still plowing some but no tire squeal. Not going to win an autocross anytime soon, but at least it maintains it's composure at posted speeds. Also much better traction and less wheel hop under power. I have KYB gas shocks on all four corners as well. Car had the original 60 year old Delco shocks on it. Made about 15 miles from my house. Kinda cool.
