Question for you. I have a 73 TA which someone put a functional scoop on with a single solenoid. They cut the kick down wire going into the switch on the accelerator pedal and wired in the solenoid. The car has a Hurst his and hers shifter so assume they didn't need the kickdown. I want to wire the kickdown up again but want to keep the scoop functional on the same switch. This would be the same as a 72 switch but I think the scoop had two solenoids.

I am pretty sure the switch you have would work but I wouldn't want to waste it when someone who is doing a 72 restoration could really use it. Do you know it was just the same switch as a 73 but with a resistor attached? If so, what size resistor was it and how was it wired?
