Thank you! I was able to get a code off the heads. Does this L087 number coinside with the late 67 build date you posted? Working on the getting the engine block #'s

The cylinder head ID is further below where you found the date code.
The 2 center/Siamese exhaust ports have large raised numerals - should be 1 and 6 (16).

Block code is on passenger side - front flat face of block - near where cylinder head meets the block.
Should be stamped stamped WT or WS

Partial VIN on block is on passenger side - lower front block flat face - alongside the timing cover.
Low down near where oil pan meets the block vicinity.
Should be stamped 28Pxxxxxx

The date code on the block - will look just like the one you found on the head.
Located around where the distributor goes inside the block.

Date on (factory) intake is next to thermostat housing.
