OK. Now I am confused. So does the Stencils and Stripes kit feature the dot pattern or the later version of the stripes? As I mentioned before, I have never had the opportunity to look at one of these cars in real life so I was unaware there were two versions of the stripe.

The white cars had a dot matrix pattern in the stripe as a fade in the black portion. The blue cars were as mentioned. Most had solid colors without the dot matrix fade.

JMO, if I had a blue car, I would still prefer the sticker over a painted stripe because that's how they came. Again, JMO
