Procomp electronics and speedmaster have many of the same part numbers and same company address.
Why wouldn’t a copy of something known to work, not work? Depends on how well it was copied. I’d say SM did a decent job copying. But let’s not give them more credit than they have due. |

Edelbrock actually changed a lot. Valve location, port size, port shape, outer casting appearance, to list a few. SM pretty much just copied Edelbrock.
