a part of the drive is boring...
But I'm a prairie kid, so I'm used to it.

Going through the tip of tornado alley on route to the black hills was eerie... especially with what looked like funnel clouds off in the horizon!!

My step-dad is from the Black Hills, and about twenty years ago, we made the drive to visit his dad, and siblings over there - while down there we went to Deadwood, and Mt Rushmore.

Lot of great changes and things to do and see since 20 years ago. Lots of improvements to roads, attractions, etc.
Funnel clouds "off in the horizon" is always good lol.

But at my age, in another year I may have lost interest, or forgotten, lol.

Hey Joe! Wondering if you still have those #17 heads? I have a very original 68 Lemans 2bbl 350 with those heads. Would like an extra set to port match to the correct 4bbl intake I have waiting to go on the car. I’d rather just leave the originals alone for the time being. Happy to cover shipping to Allendale MI 49401. Sent you a PM also.

Posting here just in case someone has another set around michigan.

Thank-you!
