Time to call the paintless dent removal expert in your area and hand the bill to your neighbor.

That's a pisser... sorry to hear that. Hope the neighbor helps you make it right and you can forgive the kid some day. It's hail season here so those paintless repair guys are more than busy.

Helped make room for Pontiacs-
Spent the weekend and today gathering 1,500 pounds of scrap metal- no Pontiac pieces though! Only got $134, sort of a bummer. Looks like about another 1,000 pounds or so to haul away tomorrow. My century-old farm barn's been collecting junk for the whole 67 years it's been in my family.

Lemans was accepted by BaT so needed to throw it on a friend's lift for underside pix. Spotted this in the yard:

On the way back the engine ran weird, like missing a spark plug. Code reader showed P0202 - #2 injector.

Wonderful.

Evidently these direct injection engines are known for this type of thing.

Followup: replaced the offending injector and cleared the codes. Still runs rough, seems more injectors are bad. My 2016 Sierra has essentially the same engine - it had 5 injectors replaced under warranty.

Damnit.

Ordered a full set of non-GM injectors, should be here Friday.

Weird thing - the engine will run without the intake!

Nothing. Finished fixing my riding mower.
Anyway I forgot to mention this- when I was driving my kid to his game yesterday, just for gits and shiggles I turned the radio on-and it worked!
I went through the dial and many stations came in perfectly clear. This is a, I’m assuming, original AM radio. I had to think for a minute, I could swear this radio didn’t work! So I quit turning it on after I bought the car. Well, it lasted about 20 minutes, all the sudden it just kind of made a high pitched beep, and it was done. It turned off. On the way home I tried it again, and nothing.
One of these days I’ll get the radios going, none of them work in all 3 of my old cars, even though I have replacements for my 2 old Pontiacs sitting up on the shelf.
