Here’s the problem with most of the posters here asking for help diagnosing a problem with their cars.

They write all kinds of things describing what’s going on but give absolutely zero information regarding what fuel system, ignition system, any pertinent engine specs and just about anything else.

So these threads turn into a 20 questions from those trying to pry information out of the original poster to help them solve their issues.

Tough crowd ?

Not tough enough.

Don’t expect people to have to go back through your previous postings to see what you have on your car.

Help us help you.

This is not an attack on you Rich but it’s frustrating seeing you either ignoring or overlooking a simple request from Steve who’s really going out of his way to offer a solution for your problem.

Bart, i hear ya loud and clear, ive heard back from jeff, shaker 455, i want to double check with him again..........its involves another py member, and i will not bash anyone on a public forum...........

I do appreciate all the help i get from members, steve does go out of the way to help..............i did what he suggested today, the fuel shot was strong............ran the car 45 minutes no issues...............then let it ldle in the garage for 15 minutes..............no issues.

Will do as you suggested and put the msd box in the glove box or under the pass side...............will get hold of jeff again to explain this to me better.

So this is still somewhat a mystery for me..................because all i did different from when the car shut down twice, was add 20 bucks of new gas...........now two days in a row and cant get the same result as when it shut down.

Im thinking i dont have a overheating issue......................while ideling for quite a while it never went over 190.

Will get another distributor and just try to run the points............which i never was good at setting durning the 60"s............

As far as specs..........70 455 motor, kre heads, 295 cmf from SD, he port matched the tripower to the heads.............stock fuel system, never had a issue with it.....msd 6al box and ss blaster coil................never a issue with anything untill the last few days.........dont know what else to add.

Will send pics to jeff, maybe he can explain the answer to steve question.........this set-up has been on for years, never a issue,.
