Why do you need a new cover?
I have fixed some very sad ones in no more then 2 1/2 hours, even if the heater hose nipple is very pitted and you could do the same .

Well, I might not, I will inspect closer for other potential issues but I have some stripped threads and most "ugly" is the top bolt which is common with the alternator bracket where I have a bolt all the way thru with a nut/washer on the backside. Also, I really don't expect any corrosion issue but won't know until it comes off. I'm preparing for a cam swap.
