Pitting seen like that are certain signs of damaging detonation taking place.
That pitting is where the mixture is very lean and lights off by just the cylinder pressure the motor has even before the spark comes a long. Detonation will rattle the Pistons around and unseat if not also crack the rings. You have a mess on your hands I am so sorry to say! :-(
