Tom .. got a Holley question.. list 4780 new engine not in car yet so not trying to work any under load conditions just trying for as smooth operation as i can on a stand..

I decided to change the metering block again i have 3 blocks all the same except different IFRs,

So this time i decide to run it out of fuel instead of draining the bowl when fuel started getting low it developed normal sputtering then like the last 2 or 3 seconds RPMs picked up and it was dead smooth like a top fuel shutting off i said to myself thats what iam after..

what does that tell a tuner? i have good idle screw response rich/lean @ 1.6 turns best idle .035 IFR about .073 IAB

I dont expect a dead smooth idle and transfer to mains with a 108 L/C cam just trying to get it to the best to be had
