I had the same experience;
I did try the international paypal link, but $72usd(?) at the current exchange rate was simply to rich for me;
(Our "peso" is teetering at nearly 40% - so that made a "$30" book come out to roughly $100 in my currency. )
When shipping international makes things too pricey, I will look into state-side shipping options - which is why I used the other link.

I ordered elsewhere, and just received notification that the book has shipped.
(Just to be clear, it was still a bit pricey, but I figured that I haven't bought myself something fun like this in a while)

I'm looking forward to receiving this!
