Was just looking at the Mecum auction on that linden green ram air GTO. Personally, I've always like Linden Green. Not my 1st choice of colors in a 67, but it'd make my top 5 color choice. Regardless, that Ram Air GTO pulled $55k at auction. Ouch. I can't believe it pulled those numbers. That seems ridiculously low given the restoration costs. I'm guessing things like the EverStart battery and the post didn't interest the bidders. Too bad, it's a cool car. A local friend is aware of my car and offered me $30k for it. It is a tempting offer, but I can't bring myself to do it. To me, this is an awesome color combination and once in a lifetime opportunity for a 67 GTO guy like myself. Sooner or later, I will be at Norwalk showing the car. Maybe not this fall..... but soon.
