You guys that live in Florida do you have a furnace for heat? My buddy said some in Florida do not have a heat source.

If true, I feel compelled to sat that this (no furnace/source of heat) is a completely foreign concept to me.

We have heat from the AC. It is a combo unit. But the heat output isn't much. (10,000 BTU?) I'd also say a lot of people further south don't have any heat. My Mom when she lived in Okeechobee, didn't have any heat. said only once did it get like in the 40's? Used blankets mostly.

LOL, kinda thinking the same thing. Seems kinda weird we have had the Driest Jan on record or Dam close to it. Possibly snow this weekend, but not a Normal winter.
Cool but very Dry.

You know it bad when this issue occurs.

I vacationed once in Key West by road trip. We brought arctic plunge with us apparently. First, hit Kentucky during sheet ice that closed the UPS next day air freight for first time ever. Uncle Leroy still had the only snow plow up on blocks.

Got out of car at beginning of off ramp. It was impossible to stand without the old school real door handles GMs once came with. We were early and got a room at that exit.

In Keys, think temps hit 17 degrees but I cannot confirm that cold of a temp in the weather records.

Every Southern redneck who needs heat knows to remove their window AC unit, turn it around, and reinstall.
