Ford Ranchero switched to the Fairlane body in '67.
Falcon ceased production in 1970. There was a short period of time in 1970 when the Falcon became the base Fairlane/Torino model but I'm not aware if the Ranchero was part of that

I don't remember a Ranchero with a 66/67 Fairlane front clip. Weird to me they went from Falcon to Fairlane platform in between those years since the body was basically the same.

when I was 17, my brother and I worked for a landscaper. The owner needed a new pickup truck and we went with him and I talked him into buying a new 1970 Ford ranchero(Torino) on the lot with a 428 cobra Jet and 4 speed,
