Just coming full circle on this, I exchanged emails with Bill Gaterman yesterday and he confirms there are no Pontiac/Olds GP1008 lifters in the inventory system at the moment (all sold out). Will have some in roughly two months.

Obviously he's not high-volume with these. Harley-Davidson and Chevrolet and Ford will always get first attention I suppose.
