I fully retired in February at 61. I had wanted to work longer, but with the offer i got, it was too good to pass up. plus they said they were cutting staff by 50%, I figured if i left i may save a mid-career peer. So now I have the time to do what I want and enjoy life. We have health insurance from the military, so no issues there.
