The slight discrepancy you mention in valve lift is really irrelevant if your running stock rockers.
The I have seen the stock stamped steel factory rockers veri from a ratio of 1.46 up to 1.52. With 068 Cams lobe lift of like .276"if a recall right then the lift seen at the valve could veri from 402" up to 419"
