'64 Lemans Convert almost done. Thanks all.
I am almost done with a planned couple year low cost restomod of our '64 Lemans Convert. I was extremely wrong on both counts, over 10 years later and triple the cost estimate, all that's left is new top. But it's summer, don't currently need it. Out cruising and enjoying every moment.
I don't post much, and didn't do a build thread, but I have to thank so many folks here that provided advice and services. This forum is truly amazing and our car has its influence throughout it. Just reading Cliff R's posts is basically why I have the engine build that we have. Quadrajet was rebuilt by Shaker455. Runs strong and flawlessly. Suntuned rebuilt and setup HEI, again perfect work. There are so many others that helped with information and advice, I thank you all. (Oh, while not a member here, a major shout out to Juston Olesen, owner of Competition Paint in Gresham, Oregon. Great guy and business. I knew I found the right shop when I saw 3 of his 6 GTO'S at the shop and he showed me his Pontiac arrowhead tattoo. ) Build specs: Frame off. Just wanted a healthy driver, with options to change in the future. '73 400, 40 over, forged bottom end, zero decked. Crower 60240. 6x-4 heads, cut a tad, not ported. 850 Quadrajet. HEI. TH350 kitted. Converter with a bit higher stall than stock, but can't remember the number. Quick Performance 9" rear with 3.0 gears (we like the highway. ) 4 wheel GM disks. Dakota Digital gauges. Vintage Air AC. Quick ratio steering box. American Auto Wire harness. US 17" wheels. Love this car. Thanks again for the years of advise, knowledge and referrals. Been debating the top color for awhile. Car was originally Skyline Blue with a white top. Decided to go with white for a few reasons. Although I went to a cruise in recently and got to see what a blue top would look like thanks to a 66 GTO I parked next to.......

I see what you did there in the pic. Do one with a white car behind it. Blue would look good but my vote would be for white. Either way will look nice.
